Tubing Material

  • PVC (Tygon®): Handles virtually all inorganic chemicals found in the lab and can be used in corrosive environments.
  • Silicone (Versilic®): Biologically neutral and does not inhibit cell culture. It meets European Pharmacopeia requirements, USP Class VI biological tests, and ISO 10993 biocompatibility.
  • Isoversinic®: Excellent resistance to strong acids, oxidizing agents, and aromatic and chlorinated solvents.
  • PharMed®: It meets European Pharmacopeia requirements, USP Class VI biological tests, and ISO 10993 biocompatibility.

All medium flow tubing has color coded retaining stops for easy recognition of the tubing's internal diameter.

Tubing for R1, R2, R4 & R8 Medium Flow Pump Heads (Lenght= Approx. 40cm/16in)

The R1 (1 channel), R2 (2 channels), R4 (4 channels) and R8 (8 channels) medium flow pump heads have a maximum flow rate of 30 mL/min and each channel has its own maximum flow rate, which is displayed in the table below.
