The WEEE Directive holds manufacturers responsible for ensuring that systems exist to collect and manage electrical and electronic products at the end of their useful lives through recycling and environmentally sound disposal. The objectives of this program are to preserve, protect and improve the quality of the environment, protect human health, and utilize natural resources prudently and rationally.
In complying with this directive, end-of-life instructions and information will be available for those Gilson, Inc. products which are within the scope of the WEEE Directive. Products falling under the scope of the WEEE Directive available for sale after August 13, 2005 will be identified with a WEEE symbol label, a crossed out wheeled bin with a heavy underscore.
