508 Interface Module

The Gilson 508 Interface Module connects your computer to up to 32 Gilson GSIOC instruments. The 508 Interface Module is strictly a communication device and does not contain any contact control or analog input capabilities that are found on the 506C System Interface. The 508 Interface Module allows for Gilson GSIOC legacy instruments to be configured within a system containing Ethernet controlled devices such as the GX-27X Series. The 508 Interface Module also provides LED indicators for RS-232 and GSIOC communication that can indicate if there are communication problems between the computer and GSIOC hardware.
