This website (“Site”) is owned and operated by Gilson‚ Inc. on behalf of itself and its affiliates (collectively‚ “Gilson‚” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The goal of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the information we and our suppliers gather or receive about you and in connection with your access to and use of the Site (“Collected Information”), how we use and share that information‚ and how we safeguard that information.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and made a part of our Terms of Use. Your access to and use of this Site‚ and any disputes arising from the Site‚ are subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions‚ including arbitration‚ class action waiver‚ limitation on damages‚ and choice of law.

Collection of Information You Submit

Personally Identifiable Information

You can visit the Site without sharing personally identifiable information, but you will be required to provide personally identifiable information in order to use certain Site features, for example, to register for an online Gilson account. We will collect any personally identifiable information from or about you that you choose to submit to us via the Site. Personally identifiable information is information that identifies you as an individual. The personally identifiable information we collect may include your name‚ email address‚ mailing address‚ billing address, shipping address‚ phone number‚ and payment information. Specifically, we collect your personally identifiable information when setting up your online account, in connection with your purchase of products, in receiving and fulfilling information requests, when you respond to communications from us (e.g., surveys, promotional offers). To register for an online account you will need to submit your name‚ billing address‚ shipping address‚ and phone number. If you provide your mobile or other telephone number to us, you consent to receiving phone calls from us at that telephone number as described below.

Purchase Information

Purchases of products must be made by credit or debit card. All credit and debit card information is provided directly to our PCI -compliant third-party payment processor. Gilson does not directly access or handle your credit or debit card information. To make a purchase, you will need to submit your name and your credit or debit card type, number, expiration date, security code, billing address, shipping address, Company name and phone number. We will maintain a record of the purchases that you make using the Site.

Mailing List Information

If you sign up or otherwise opt in to receive promotions from us, you will need to submit your name and email address. We will use this information to provide you with promotional and other electronic communications. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the applicable email. We may use third-party email providers to deliver these communications to you.

Purpose Collected

Gilson uses personally identifiable information and other Collected Information for the purpose for which it has been collected, including to offer and provide our products and services to you, to communicate with you in connection with your online Gilson account, to provide you with information and communications that you request, and to support our core business functions. These include order or service fulfillment‚ internal business processes‚ marketing‚ authentication‚ loss and fraud prevention‚ public safety and legal functions. Your location information will be used to update product pricing, availability, regional promotions and language support.

Communication with You

Business Transfers

All Collected Information is exclusively the property of Gilson. Children Under 13

This Site is a general audience website and is not directed at children under 13 years of age. Gilson does not knowingly collect or use information from children under 13 through the Site. Gilson maintains reasonable and appropriate physical‚ administrative‚ and technical controls to protect your personal information.
