What are the requirements to become an OEM business partner?
An OEM business partner must agree: (1) to offer
the integrated systems for resale and not for
internal use; (2) not to modify the Gilson product
or component in such a way as to adversely affect
its performance or the safety of the operator; (3) to assume the responsibility for installation,
operator training, support and repair of the
Gilson product.

What if I can't provide worldwide support?
We understand that companies may not be able
to provide worldwide after-sale support until
sufficient sales develop. In these situations,
the company may be eligible to become a Gilson
Strategic Partner. For more information on Strategic

How are OEM discounts calculated?
OEM discounts are based on the OEM partner assuming
the responsibility for selling, installing,
supporting and servicing the Gilson products
and purchasing them in volume at a predetermined
schedule. The amount of discount is dependent
on the product, annual volume and delivery schedule commitment.

Is there a minimum order requirement?
We do request that you commit to a minimum order
quantity that can be released over an agreed
upon time frame.

Why should I issue a 12-month blanket order?
When you commit to purchasing a Gilson product in quantity at a predetermined discount and release schedule, we can plan the efficient ordering of raw material and production schedule to ensure on-time delivery.

What is the term of the OEM warranty?
Gilson OEM products carry a 15-month warranty. This allows time for you to integrate the products and subsequent shipment to your end user's site.

What training will be provided?
Gilson provides training for OEM partner
representatives at Gilson's headquarters located
in Middleton, WI, USA. These courses cover installation,
operation, maintenance and service. The initial
training is provided at no charge. Advanced
and repeat trainings are available,
but at a cost.

Can my company logo and decal be put on the product?
OEM products are manufactured without labels. Your company logo(s) and decal(s) can be added during manufacturing.

How can I be sure the Gilson solution will work with my system?
After the specifications of the OEM solution have been defined, an evaluation unit will be available for a period of 30 to 60 days to ensure proper fit and performance. However, modifications are not to be made to the evaluation unit.

What software tools and support does Gilson provide?
Gilson Software Engineers work closely with
OEM clients during the product specification
stages. Depending on the OEM client's software
capabilities, different software command levels
are available. Basic operations (e.g., on/off)
can be controlled with input or output contact
closures. Basic GSIOC commands are provided
for each device. Drivers, OCX and DLL commands
are also available. Gilson's powerful suite
of controls, the Gilson Developer's Kit,
includes all of the commands necessary to create
custom programs for controlling Gilson
instruments. These controls are compatible with
any 32-bit programming language that supports
Active-X controls.

As a company with our own internal trade secrets,
