ELISA

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a biochemical assay used to quantitatively measure the amount of antigen present in a sample. The technique is widely used in a clinical setting as a diagnostic tool and can be found in plant pathology, biotechnology, and as a QC check in numerous industries. There are several types of ELISA, most ending up with a color change which can be read via a UV-VIS or fluorescence plate reader. Pipetting accuracy and precision are key to reproducible results within ELISA workflows. Gilson’s range of manual pipettes, Bluetooth®-connected products, and automated liquid handlers are standard tools on many lab benches for this task.

Adding ELISA Protocols to PipettePilot®

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, or ELISA, are long protocols that require a combination of focus and time management over many hours. This tutorial shows how to use TRACKMAN® Connected and PipettePilot to create a quick and flexible ELISA protocol. Learn how by following the steps below.
